About the game
Present the weather on a retro local TV show. There's no map behind you, just a blank blue wall, so the only way to see where you're pointing is a studio monitor that shows everything backwards and a beat late. Hit each town at the right moment and keep the viewer ratings up.
How to play
- Move Barry Breeze and point at the blank wall.
- Watch the studio monitor to see the map, but remember it's mirrored and delayed!
- Point at each town as the forecast mentions it, and draw the storm's path.
Play together
Producer vs Presenter: one player writes the forecast on the real map, the other has to present it. Swap, and the higher ratings win.
Is it real?
Real TV weather presenters stand in front of a plain green or blue screen and watch monitors to know where to point. The map is added in for viewers at home.
Good for
Hand-eye coordination and thinking in mirror image, wrapped up in a silly game you can finish in a few minutes.
